This documentary is revealing on an important part of the story when a peaceful people was forced to leave his homeland on 1948 and replaced by immigrants from all over Europe brought by" Jewish Agency for Israel". The historical sequence documented in this movie proves that this conflict is a political one, and never been a religious issue. Thank you for all these efforts to reveal the truth.

This sensative and historically acurate film about the events that lead to Israel's declaration of statehood in 1948 is sensative and well researched. What makes this film special is that it is full of interviews with Palestinians and Jewish Israelis who were there and participated in the events of 1947/1948. This film gives us the opportunity to understand what the people who lived in Palestine when the political Zionists arrived went through, thought and experienced. It also gives us an opportunity to hear from political Zionists who arrived in Palestine to understand what they thought, experienced and lived through. While the topic is difficult for some to approach with an open mind, it is a fantastic educational vehicle for discussion and learning about a pivotal historic time and events. The film is beautifully made, by people who know the topic and treat all the participants with care and sensitivity. I've seen it several times with different audiences and heard people from all backgrounds- students, senior citizens, Jews, Muslims, etc. applaud the film and it's historical accuracy.
